Jamie Lamprecht is a seasoned non-profit leader with over 19 years of experience driving transformational change as a Chief Executive Officer, Director of Development, and Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE). With a strong background in securing major gifts, grants, and planned giving, Jamie has led initiatives that have strengthened communities, empowered future leaders, and expanded organizational impact. His expertise extends to board development, volunteer engagement, and strategic fundraising, ensuring long-term success for the missions he serves.
Recognized for his energetic and growth-oriented leadership, Jamie excels in public speaking, marketing, public relations, and team development. His passion for youth development and community engagement fuels his commitment to creating meaningful change.
Outside of his professional work, Jamie has been married to his wife, Emily, for over 20 years, and together they have two daughters, Addison and Avery. An avid Search & Rescue K-9 Handler, Jamie works alongside his German Shepherd partner, Oakley, while also raising service dogs for Duo Dogs, a nonprofit in St. Louis, MO.
Amanda Kernan
Campaign Development Manager
Amanda Kernan joined LLS in June 2024 as the St. Louis Visionaries of the Year Campaign Development Manager. Originally from Collinsville, IL, she attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, studied Mass Communications and English, and was a member of Alpha Sigma Tau sorority.
With 13 years of development experience working with the American Cancer Society, Autism Speaks, and the Metro East Humane Society, she’s raised more than $5million in the St. Louis metropolitan area. Having lost too many loved ones to cancer, including a cousin at 7 to leukemia and an uncle to lymphoma, she’s returning to the fight against cancer with LLS.
Now a proud St. Louis City resident, in her free time you can find her out & about with her dog, Lupin, or home watching Bravo tv with her cat, Moira Rose. An avid reader and traveler. Swiftie, brunch spot connoisseur, animal lover, and oxford comma enthusiast.
David Wettroth
Campaign Development Specialist
David Wettroth, a St. Louis native, graduated from Lutheran High School South and earned his B.A. in Film Studies from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2016. With 10 years of experience in event logistics and execution, David’s professional journey began in radio broadcasting, where he served as the Promotions Director for Cumulus Media in Columbia, and later as the Marketing & Promotions Manager for Cumulus Media in the North Eastern market of Oshkosh, WI.
One of David's career highlights includes spearheading a transformative initiative as the head of the marketing department for a prior organization. Tasked with revitalizing the company’s brand presence, he led a comprehensive overhaul of marketing strategies and social media platforms. Through innovative campaigns and targeted initiatives, David successfully expanded the company's digital footprint and enhanced brand visibility. Under his leadership, the marketing team grew to six talented individuals, driving the company's success to new heights.
In October 2021, David joined the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), where he currently oversees the logistics and event planning for several key fundraising campaigns, including Light The Night, Student Visionaries of the Year, and Visionaries of the Year. He is responsible for orchestrating events that collectively raise over $1 million annually, while also managing operating budgets and implementing strategic cost-saving measures to ensure the campaigns' continued success and growth.
Outside of work, David is passionate about music, frequently attending concerts and music festivals, and enjoys traveling and gaming. He also loves spending quality time with his two cats, Boone & Lexie Grey.
