WHAT is a Team Member?

Creating a contact list to see WHO you know
Sending out Letters and Emails to let EVERYONE know you're a Team Member and you want your candidate to win the coveted Student Visionaries of the Year title
Making Personal Asks
Reaching out to corporate contacts you know to see if their company will be a sponsor, make a contribution, or do a matching opportunity

WHY should I be a Team Member?
We can give you many different reasons why you should be a Team Member, community service hours, awards, looks good on college applications, etc., but the most important question you should ask yourself is what is YOUR WHY? What is your driving force? Is it to help a friend? Do you or your family have a personal connection to blood cancer or cancer in general? Do you want to make a difference in the Charlotte community? Whatever your WHY is, keep it at the forefront of everything you do. Your WHY will keep you going throughout the duration of the campaign, and will help others to get involved and support the mission!
